Mallory McMorrow Secures Endorsement from Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 357

MICHIGAN — Today, Mallory McMorrow, Michigan Senate Majority Whip and candidate for U.S. Senate, received the endorsement of UA Local 357 (Plumbers, Pipefitters & HVAC-R), a labor union representing a variety of trade professionals across Southwest Michigan.

“There are a record number of apprentices coming through UA Local 357’s doors in Kalamazoo. I spoke with a few who left very different careers, one who was so glad to have found the union after being taken advantage of in a non-union shop. We talked about pride in your work, great wages, and a well-earned retirement. This is the American Dream. Proud to have their endorsement to make it possible for more Michiganders,” said McMorrow.

“Mallory’s presence in West Michigan has not gone unnoticed. I am confident she will help combat many of the challenges we face in Washington. She is passionate, ambitious, and knows when and how to fight for what’s right. She is exactly the kind of leader our country needs right now,” said UA Local 357 Business Manager Bob Gulbranson.

UA Local 357 joins a long and growing list of supporters of McMorrow’s campaign. She has earned 50+ endorsements from current and former elected officials up and down the ballot and all across Michigan, including U.S. Senators Chris Murphy, Peter Welch, and Martin Heinrich, former Michigan Lt. Governor John Cherry Jr., and Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks, as well as dozens of other elected officials, faith leaders, activists, and community leaders. She has also been endorsed by the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 370, The Next 50, Vote Mama, and Nurses for America, and earned the End Citizens United “Unrig Washington” Candidate Distinction.
