The International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers Transportation Division Endorses Mallory McMorrow 

Two national unions have now thrown their support behind McMorrow

MICHIGAN — Today, Michigan Senate Majority Whip and candidate for U.S. Senate Mallory McMorrow received the endorsement of the Transportation Division of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation (SMART-TD) Workers. SMART-TD represents 3,000 active and retired SMART-TD members here in Michigan and more than 50,000 active and retired national members who help Americans get to their jobs, their homes, and their communities every day. 

“I've always believed that how people get around — to work, to their kids' school, to a doctor's appointment — is one of the most concrete ways we either invest in working families or leave them behind. From bus operators to rail workers, SMART-TD members deliver every day — working tirelessly to move the goods that power our economy and the people in our lives. I look forward to continuing to work alongside them," said Mallory McMorrow.

This comes shortly after Mallory secured the endorsement of the Utility Workers Union of America, the first national labor union to endorse in the race. The Transportation Division of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers joins several U.S. Senators, state leaders, and local labor unions across Michigan proudly endorsing Mallory McMorrow for United States Senate.
