Statewide Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen Endorse Mallory McMorrow for U.S. Senate

MICHIGAN — Today, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) Michigan State Legislative Board has endorsed Mallory McMorrow for Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat. Founded in Detroit on May 8, 1863, the Michigan Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen is a division of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters operating in 11 divisions across the state.

“One job should be enough to support your family, save for retirement, and give your kids a better life than you had. For over 150 years in Michigan, BLET has fought to deliver that promise to their members, and I look forward to continuing that fight alongside them in the U.S. Senate,” said McMorrow.

“Mallory McMorrow has been a tireless fighter for working people in the state Senate, and is who we need fighting for us in the U.S. Senate,” said BLET Michigan Legislative Board Chair BJ Trumble. “As workers face unprecedented attacks, we know she’ll not just have our back, but stand with us to fight for a better future and deliver real results for our members.”

The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen Michigan State Legislative Board joins four sitting U.S. Senators, unions including the Utility Workers Union of America, SMART-TD, and more than 100 state and local leaders in endorsing Mallory McMorrow’s campaign for Michigan’s open Senate seat.
